Web Design (UI/UX)

Web design your visitors will enjoy

We design websites people enjoy using. Good web design is more than a pretty homepage: it helps visitors find what they need, trust what they see and take the next step, whether that’s calling you, booking or buying.

UI and UX, explained

UI and UX in plain words

You’ll hear designers talk about UI and UX. They’re two halves of the same job, and we design both together, because a site that looks great but feels confusing still loses visitors.

UI

UI: how it looks

User interface (UI) is everything you see on the screen: colours, fonts, buttons, images and spacing. Good UI makes your site look clear, calm and unmistakably yours.

UX

UX: how it feels

User experience (UX) is how easy the site feels to use: can people find things, understand them and finish what they came to do without getting stuck?

What we design

From one landing page to a full website

New websites

A complete website planned around your visitors' questions, from the homepage to the contact form, designed to look like your brand on every screen.

Website redesigns

Your current site feels dated or confusing? We keep what works, fix what doesn't and give it a fresh look that matches your brand today.

Landing pages

Single pages designed for one offer, event or campaign. No distractions, just a clear message and one obvious next step for your visitors.

Clickable test designs

A clickable preview of your site or app that works like the real thing, so you can test ideas with real people before anything is built.

Featured websites

Websites designed to be used, not just admired

Each project shows how we turn a long list of needs into a site that feels simple. Open one to see the plan, the design choices and the screens behind it.

Our design steps

How your new site takes shape

Five clear steps, with your feedback built into each one, so the site you launch is the site you pictured.

01

Listen

First, we learn about your business, your visitors and what you need the site to do, whether that’s calls, bookings, sales or sign-ups.

02

Sketch

We map out your pages and draw rough layouts, called wireframes, so we can agree on what goes where before any colour is added.

03

Design

After that, we turn the sketches into full designs in your brand’s colours and fonts, for phones, tablets and desktops, and share them for your feedback.

04

Test

Then we click through a working preview, check it on real phones and fix anything that feels slow, confusing or hard to read.

05

Launch

Finally, we hand over the designs and files, and help get your site live, checking speed, links and forms along the way.

FAQ

Thinking about a new website? Read this first

Planning a website raises lots of questions. Here are the ones we hear most.

How long does a new website take?

It depends on the number of pages and how quickly content and feedback come together. A single landing page is much quicker than a full website. We’ll map out a timeline with dates in your proposal, so you know when to expect each step.

We can. We’ll write clear, friendly page text based on a short chat with you, or polish words you’ve already drafted. Good words matter as much as good design, so we plan them together from the start.

Yes. Most people will see your site on a phone first, so we design for small screens from day one, then for tablets and desktops. Buttons are easy to tap, text is easy to read and pages stay quick to load.

Yes. After launch, we can also help with updates, new pages, landing pages for campaigns and fresh photos or videos. Just tell us what you need, and we’ll quote it the same clear way as your first project.

Not always. If your site’s structure works, a refresh of the look, words and photos can be enough. We’ll review your current site on our free call and tell you honestly which option makes more sense.

We're ready to design your new site

Tell us what your website needs to do, who it’s for and when you’d like it live. Then we’ll come back with a plan, a timeline and a clear quote you can say yes to.

We use cookies to keep this site working and, if you say yes, to count visits with Google Analytics so we can make the site better. We never sell your data. Read our Privacy Policy.
