Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains, in plain words, what personal information MINT Digital Media Agency collects through this website, why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s federal privacy law, PIPEDA, and any provincial privacy laws that apply.

In short

The short version

  • What we collect: the details you share in our forms, like your name, email, phone number, budget and any files you upload, plus basic website statistics.
  • Why: to reply to you, plan and quote your project, send our newsletter if you ask for it, and improve this website.
  • Who sees it: only the people at Mint who need it, and trusted service providers who help us run the business. We never sell your information.
  • How long we keep it: only as long as we need it for these reasons or as the law requires. Then we delete it securely.
  • Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by sending us a message through our Start a Project page.
What's in this policy

Information we collect, and why

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us, or that your browser shares automatically when you visit. We never buy contact lists, and we ask you not to send sensitive details, like health or financial information, through our forms.

Start a Project form

Your name, email, phone number, business name, the services you need, your budget range, timeline, project details and any files you upload. We use them to understand your project, reply and send a proposal.

Files you upload

Logos, briefs, sketches or photos you attach. We use them only for your project. If they show other people, please make sure you have their permission to share them.

Free call request

Your name, phone number, the best time to call and your message, used only to arrange and make the call you asked for.

Newsletter sign-up

Your email address, used to send our newsletter with tips and news. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we’ll remove you promptly when you use it.

Emails and messages

If you email, call or message us on social media, we keep what you send so we can reply and keep track of our conversation.

Website visits

Basic technical details, such as your browser type, device, pages visited and rough location (city level), collected through cookies and Google Analytics. See the next section.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files your browser saves when you visit a website. We use them to remember your cookie choice and, with your OK, to count visits through Google Analytics, a service run by Google that shows us which pages people find useful.

Google Analytics tells us things like how many people visit, which pages they view, how long they stay, and which buttons and forms they use. It doesn’t tell us who you are, and we don’t use it to build advertising profiles.

You’re in control. You can decline analytics cookies in our cookie notice or change your choice later with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block cookies in your browser or install Google’s free opt-out add-on. The site still works if you do.

Essential cookies

Needed for the site to work, such as remembering your cookie choice and keeping forms secure. They don’t track you and can’t be switched off here.

Analytics cookies

Set by Google Analytics, only if you accept them, to count visits and see which pages are useful. You can say no and still use the whole site.

Embedded videos

Videos from YouTube or Vimeo load only when you press play. Those services may then set their own cookies, covered by their own privacy policies.

How we use, share and protect it

We use your information only for the reasons we gave when we collected it: to reply to you, plan and deliver your project, send invoices, send our newsletter if you asked for it, and improve this website. If we ever want to use it for something new, we’ll ask first.

By sending a form, you agree that we can use your information for the purpose shown on that form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us, though we may then be unable to help with your project.

Who can see it

Only the people at Mint who need it, and trusted providers who help us run the business, like our website host, email service and form tools. They may only use it to help us.

Stored outside Canada

Some providers, such as Google, may store information on servers outside Canada, where local laws may allow authorities to access it. We choose providers with strong privacy protections.

We never sell it

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it when a provider needs it to help us, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Project enquiries we don’t go ahead with are deleted after a reasonable time. Client records are kept as long as tax and business laws require, then securely deleted.

How we protect it

We use secure (HTTPS) connections, strong passwords, two-step logins where available and limited access, and we keep our website and tools up to date.

If something goes wrong

If a data breach ever creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we’ll tell you and report it to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.

Your rights and how to reach us

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to see it, to correct anything that’s wrong and to ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.

To make a request, contact our privacy contact, Michael Boadu, through our Start a Project page. We’ll reply within 30 days, as Canadian privacy law requires, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first. Some records, like invoices, must be kept by law.

If you’re not happy with how we handled your request, please tell us so we can try to fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, tools or the law change. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and change the date. This version was last updated on 22 October 2026. If a change is significant, we’ll also point it out on our website.

We use cookies to keep this site working and, if you say yes, to count visits with Google Analytics so we can make the site better. We never sell your data. Read our Privacy Policy.
