MINT Digital Media Terms & Conditions

These MINT Digital Media terms explain the rules for using this website and the basics of working with us. We’ve kept them short and in plain words. By using this site, you agree to them.

In plain words

The terms at a glance

Six key points. The full terms below explain each one.

Using this site

You’re welcome to browse, share our links and contact us. But please don’t copy our content or misuse the site.

Our portfolio

The designs, photos and videos shown here belong to us, our clients or the people who licensed them to us.

Your project

Every project gets a written proposal. It sets out the work, price, timeline, payments, changes and file ownership.

If they differ

If these terms and your project agreement say different things, your project agreement wins.

Limits

We work hard to keep this site accurate, but we can’t promise it’s always complete or error-free.

Which laws apply

The laws of the province where MINT is based, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Please don't

Part 2

Portfolio images and content

Unless we say otherwise, the words, designs, photos and videos on this site belong to MINT Digital Media Agency. Some belong to our clients, or to photographers and artists who licensed them to us. For example, some photos are stock images that we have a licence to use.

Some projects on this site are samples. They show how we approach each service, and we’ll replace them with real client work over time. We clearly label each sample.

Please don’t copy, download, edit or reuse our images, videos or designs without our written permission. Our name and mountain logo are our brand. So please don’t use them in a way that suggests we work with you or support you.

If you think something on this site uses your work without permission, contact us. Then we’ll look into it quickly.

Part 3

Project basics

Every project starts with a written proposal. Once you accept it, it becomes your project agreement, the main document for your project. The notes below are only a short overview. If they differ from your project agreement, your agreement wins. It’s also the place for anything else, like what happens if a project is paused or cancelled.

Quotes and proposals

After a free call, we send a written proposal. It lists the work, the price, the timeline and what’s included. Work starts once you accept it in writing.

Deposits and payments

Your proposal sets out any deposit and when each payment is due. We can split larger projects into stages. Each invoice also shows how to pay.

Changes and extra work

Your proposal lists the rounds of changes included. Need more, or has the project grown? We’ll tell you the cost and get your OK before doing extra work.

Timelines and feedback

We agree on key dates together. They depend on content and feedback arriving on time, so a delay on either side can move them. We’ll always tell you early if a date needs to change.

Files and ownership

Your agreement says who owns the final files, when they become yours and how you can use them. It also says whether we may show the work in our portfolio. Stock photos, fonts and licensed music keep their own licence rules.

Your materials

When you send us logos, photos, text or other files, you confirm you have the right to use them. You still own them. We use them only for your project and keep them safe.

Part 4

Limits on our responsibility

We work hard to keep this website accurate, safe and online. Still, we provide it ‘as is’. That means we can’t promise it will always be complete, error-free or available.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for any loss or damage caused by using this website. That includes relying on its general information.

Our site may link to other websites. We don’t control those sites, so we aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Marketing results depend on many things outside our control. So we never promise specific results, like a number of sales, followers or a search ranking.

Each client project’s written agreement sets out our responsibility for that project. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.

Part 5

Which laws apply

These terms follow the laws of the province where MINT is based, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

If a disagreement comes up, please talk to us first. A quick, honest conversation can solve most problems. If we still can’t agree, the courts of that province can decide.

Part 6

Changes to the MINT Digital Media terms

We may update these terms when our services, our website or the law changes. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. The version shown here is the one that applies when you use the site. A signed project agreement only changes if we both agree in writing.

We last updated this version on 23 October 2026.
