Sample: Shelf-Ready Packaging for a Small-Batch Brand

How we'd take a home-grown product from plain containers and home-printed labels to packaging that holds its own on a store shelf.

Sample packaging design case study: it shows how we approach this service and will be replaced with real client work as it’s added.

What we made
The challenge

Where this project started

An entrepreneur has a product people love at markets and online, and a local store wants to stock it. But the packaging is plain containers with home-printed labels. Next to bigger brands on the shelf, it looks homemade in the wrong way.

The idea

The thinking behind the work

Keep the handmade warmth, lose the guesswork. A clean label system with one bold colour per product, the brand name where eyes land first, and the maker’s story in a few honest lines on the back.

What we made

The finished work, up close

A label design system for the full product line, outer boxes for gift sets, realistic previews for the store buyer, matching tote bags and stickers for markets, and print-ready files set up for the printer.

Results

The results

This sample packaging design case study shows how we’d approach packaging for a growing product line. On a real project, we’d look at things like store orders and how the product sells next to bigger brands. Real results will appear here once this sample is replaced with one of Michael’s own projects.
